Party editor
Experimental, game-specific plugin (see source) -- edits the running game's memory directly, not the save-state file, so changes apply immediately but only stick around once you save a state (or the game auto-saves) afterward. A field turns green for a moment when it's applied.

Item editor
Edits the item's stats directly in the loaded ROM data, not save data -- so unlike everything else on this panel, the change is installed as a real Game Genie/PAR cheat (visible in the Cheats panel too) so it survives a reload instead of being lost the moment the ROM reloads. A field turns green for a moment when applied.

Modifier & macros
Pick one gamepad button as "Special". While it's held, pressing another already-bound button can trigger a save/load/menu action or replay a recorded sequence instead of its normal SNES press -- so one physical button can serve double duty. A spare button that isn't bound to anything works too: pick "+ Listen for a spare button…" in the target list below to capture it as its own trigger.
Recording… press the sequence now.
Or build a macro manually, without pressing anything
Toggle the buttons for one step, set how long to hold them, then add the step. Repeat for each step of the sequence, then save it against the target button selected above.
